I’ve been testing it over several weeks, and here’s what I found. Moreover, this is a perfect set for travel as all its products have sizes allowed on airplanes! Sukin Blemish Control Set is a blemish control kit for acne prone skin. The set is a full routine of four products designed to work together toward clearer skin. The products included in the kit are:

1. Clearing Facial Wash (50ml) – A gel wash that aims to purify the skin and remove dirt, makeup, and other impurities using ingredients like Quince, Pomegranate, and antibacterial oils.
   
2. Pore Perfecting Toner (50ml) – Designed to refine pores and reduce shine. Key ingredients include Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus, Quince and salicylic acid.
   
3. Spot Banishing Gel (15ml) – Takes care of any blemishes when they suddenly appear. Combines Salicylic Acid, Willowherb, Eucalyptus and other botanicals.
   
4. Oil-Free Moisturiser (50ml) – A lightweight, balancing moisturiser, meant to hydrate without clogging pores, with botanicals such as Quince, Moringa and Willowherb.

What are key ingredients?

• Salicylic Acid: Helps exfoliate inside pores, helps reduce oiliness and prevent clogged pores. Good for breakouts.
  
• Tea Tree Oil & Eucalyptus Oil: Both have natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Good for calming redness, fighting acne bacteria.
  
• Willowherb Extract: Soothing, antioxidant-rich, helps reduce irritation.
  
• Quince, Pomegranate, Green/White Tea, Moringa: These are plant antioxidants, help with skin repair, calming, and preventing environmental damage.

What is the effect? 

After about 3 – 4 weeks of regular use (morning + evening, following the full routine), here’s how my skin responded:

What Worked Well:

• Breakout Prevention: I noticed fewer new pimples. Especially when I applied the Spot Banishing Gel early, it seemed to reduce size and inflammation significantly.
  
• Clarity & Texture: The facial wash + toner combo helped remove congestion (tiny bumps, dullness). Pores seemed less visibly clogged.
  
• Oil Control (to an extent): The oil-free moisturiser helped reduce shine during the day. Not matte perfect, but definitely less greasy.
  

Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven’t noticed any irritation or redness. 

What Could Be Better:

• Strong Fragrance / Essential Oils: The scent is present (tea tree, eucalyptus, etc.). For those with very sensitive skin, this might sting or irritate.
  
• Moisturiser Might Feel Light for Some: If your skin is very dry (especially in colder weather), you may find the oil-free moisturiser doesn’t give quite enough nourishment.
  
• Spot Gel Waiting Time: The gel needs time to absorb before applying moisturiser; in a rush-morning routine this can be slightly inconvenient.
  

Here’s what changed visually:

• Redness around breakouts calmed down significantly within 1-2 nights of using the spot gel.
  
• Skin looked more even, less blotchy; previous blemish marks started fading.
  
• Overall dullness reduced; skin had more of a fresh, “clean” glow (not overly dewy, but healthier).
  

However, I didn’t find that the Sukin Blemish Control Set completely removed deep scarring, but it certainly reduced new marks and prevented many breakouts from getting severe.

Based on the ingredients, my experience, and user reviews, the ideal users are:

• Oily / combination skin types
  
• Those prone to mild to moderate acne or blemishes
  
• People who prefer natural / botanical skincare and want to avoid harsh chemicals, parabens etc.
  
• Those OK with essential oils & fragrance (i.e. not extremely sensitive or reactive skin)
  

If you have very dry or sensitive skin, or known allergies to essential oils, you might want to patch-test first, or use only certain steps (skip the spot gel, maybe alternate).

This set is really worth trying as it has all necessary products for a daily skincare routine. It is perfect for travel as each product has a convenient size allowed for carry in baggage on a flight. The set is reasonably priced given that it contains four products, so I definitely recommend it! It must be mentioned that these products will not help to get rid of acne fast but will help to improve the acne prone skin condition. 

The Sukin Blemish Control Set (available on Amazon) is a strong contender in the “natural, affordable acne care” category. It doesn’t promise miracles overnight, but if you use it consistently, it can make a meaningful difference: fewer breakouts, calmer skin, reduced redness, better texture. It may not replace stronger prescriptions if acne is severe, but as a natural, everyday routine it delivers well.
